Aging Adults and Parents of Hutchinson


This group is for adults who are in need of guidance for themselves or for their aging parents. From financial planning to how to stay at home for as long as possible. We will provide the tools to help guide you to the answers you need to keep yourself and/or your parents healthy, happy, and safe.

We will meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in 2018 here at Prince of Peace Retirement Living.

Senior Connections


We hosted our first Senior Connections support group in August 2017. We had guest speakers from Senior Linkage and from the DAV. The great turn out helped us decide there was a need for this type of group which will meet the 2nd Tuesday at 2:30 pm January, June, and November of 2018.

The groups provides answers to questions like:

  • How to preserve your money and assets
  • Vetern benefits and spousal benefits
  • Medicare benefits
  • Transportation options in the community
  • Insight on caring for individuals with Dementia and Parkinsons
  • Hospice care
  • In home health care services
  • Safety in the home
  • How to make life easier as you age, without spending a fortune
